Coaching individuals and teams through turning points.
I enable individuals and teams to develop the resilience and the networks necessary to ongoing success. I help creative individuals and organisations apply their creativity to whatever is blocking them from achieving their goals. Using my wide experience across sectors, I provide a framework that allows everyone in the room to do their own best thinking, enabling them to ask fundamental questions, make robust decisions and carry through with action.
I am a qualified Thinking Environment™ Coach and Consultant and founder member of the Time to Think Collegiate. I have a Creative Arts degree and an MA in Learning & Teaching. I am qualified to deliver mentoring training programmes and Action Learning Sets. Learning and professional development are my life-long passion. I have worked in the academic, corporate and cultural sectors for over twenty years, enabling business people and arts practitioners to question, develop and think with clarity and courage. Previously a theatre lecturer, I have facilitated for Arts & Business, commercial arts-based training companies and for Time to Think. I am also a practising writer and have facilitated Pow-Wow LitFest since 2011 (www.powwowfest.com).
Whatever the situation, my first task is to create a Thinking Environment™ for the individual or group I am working with. This means providing the safety and structure for everyone in the room to do their own best thinking, and so make the best use of time and resources. I focus on giving people the space to identify what the real questions are, where they want to be and how they want to feel, and on identifying and removing whatever is blocking them from moving forward.

I provide coaching, peer coaching training, co-mentoring training, learning networks, meetings facilitation and training for chairs and teams, vision days and project kick-offs. My facilitation is centered in the thinking of the group but also encompasses how that thinking leads to decisions and engaged action for the individual or organisation. I strive to give value and am available to work as Coach in Residence, providing flexible team and individual solutions over a set time frame.
